ToorCamp 2026

Bronze metal clay jewelry
2026-06-25 , Great Faerie Crafting Yurt

Metal clay combines fine metal particles in an organic clay base. In this workshop, we'll be making copper or bronze metal clay charms. No experience needed. If you need help with hand tools or following directions, please bring someone to assist you.

Come make a pendant or charm using molds, texture sheets and other clay tools. This process includes forming your metal clay piece, letting it dry to the greenware stage, then cleaning it up and carving details. After it gets fired in the kiln, you'll do final finishing work on your solid metal piece.

Bring your Toorcamp passport stamp or other favorite rubber stamps to impress the clay with if you'd like.

One-on-one or small group sessions available to create more elaborate or specific pieces from silver or base metal clay for material costs plus a small class fee. Message me for details.

The beauty of jewelry lies in its ability to represent both personal symbolism and public image. I explore this duality in my work conceptually and literally, frequently including a secret in a piece only the wearer knows about, whether it is the ability to wear each piece in multiple configurations or an element hidden from viewers. My love for adorning the body leads me to create artfully designed jewelry influenced by mythology, pop culture and childhood memories.

My work explores the effects recent technological and scientific advancements have on contemporary identity. Basing my work on historical jewelry models, I cast and fabricate fine art jewelry from sterling silver, resin, and stones.

As a Certified Camp Metal Clay Instructor, I'm excited to share this fun media with Toorcamp participants.
