Join Sova and Karmic Project for a free training and certification in CPR and using an AED through the American Red Cross training course.
Karmic Project will be offering free training and certification with the Adult CPR/AED course by the American Red Cross. Advanced registration is helpful for ensuring the proper amount of training supplies but not required. Registration at: https://tally.so/r/RGk45Q
If you wish to get your first aid certification or renew your existing certification, you can take the blended online course and complete the training at the end of the CPR/AED course. Registration is required for the first aid certification so that we can send you the voucher to access the online portion of the course prior to arrival for the in-person skills test. If you do not complete the online portion we will not be able to issue the first aid certification, but you still can earn the Adult CPR/AED certification.
Karmic Project (501c3 non-profit organization) will be sponsoring and covering the costs the certifications ($50/student). Those that wish to donate to help cover the costs and supplies can do so at https://www.karmicproject.org and all donations are tax-deductible.
Sova has been working in technology and infosec since the age of dial-up and has also worked as a residential counselor, skills and safety trainer, and EMT since 2017. Sova will be providing free Adult CPR/AED/First Aid courses by the American Red Cross and available for conflict resolution or psychological crisis interventions throughout the event.
Sova is also the founder and president of Karmic Project which is dedicated to helping connect people and resources. Karmic Project provides at-cost harm-reduction, medical and psychological first aid, and safety training at events under their Karmic Cares project. Sova's latest interest is building tools, education, and a legal network, to help people living proudly with neuro-diversity or in protected classes to stand up for their rights and fight back against discrimination and retaliation in the workplace. Sova will give a 5-minute lightning talk about inJESTER, a searchable, auditable, and chain-of-custody evidentiary timeline management tool. inJESTER allows anyone to provide a detailed history or all employment events and the evidence connected to them to regulatory agencies and law firms to support their discrimination, retaliation, or whistleblower cases.
